Route: N Twin Sister/West Ridge Climbed: Aug, 1994 Party: Josh, Tod, Joyce A little difficulty finding the trail head. Becky directions are best, but it is no longer possible to drive to the meadow. Must now hike about 1.5 miles to get onto the ridge. Most of the distance is on roads and mountain bikes would make the approach and exit far easier. There is a good trail up to the ridge. Good climbing on the ridge. Near the top the S side of the ridge looked impassible so we moved to the N side and found easy going. Descended on the N side, which was very loose rock. This descent should be taken only when it is snow covered. Otherwise, easier to descend ridge. If the descent is on the N side, do not descend to the forest. Rather, traverse SW on the slopes above the forest back to the beginning of the ridge. There is the beginning of a trial here. [Route description written by Tom Unger]
