After two days on the beautiful island camp we headed north. Along the way we stoped in Kyuquot village to register with the tribal band before entering their lands. Turns out that they are no longer keeping track of visitors. However, we did find a good resturant at which we were able to get burgers, salid, and great milk shakes. We camped a short distance out side of town.

Next day we paddled north through the Bunsby islands to the Acous peninsula.

	Kyuquot Village		Me cooling off in the water. Some days were very hot and sunny. Often we set up the tarp just for the sun shade.
	Brigette cooking some small herring.		In the morning a bear came to the far shore. When he wanted to cross we started yelling to keep him away.

From the Acous we crossed to the Brooks Pensual and camped at it's south east end. We intended to paddle along it's south shore, but instead spent the whole day playing in the moderate surf. One of the funnest days of the trip.
