Day 5: Shilelagh canyons and Leprechaun canyon.

The weather was marginal so we headed SE of Hanksville to these canyons which were lower elevation, short, and fun. Marshall and I had explored them just a couple days before. Now we got to descend both forks of Shilelagh canyon and explore Leprechaun much further than Marshall and I did.

I don't have any photos of Leprechaun because it is so narrow and dark. When Leprechaun gets really narrow it is only 18 inches wide and some 100 feet deep. This is tilted at 15 degrees and take both hands to push your self along. Tim got ahead of us and at one point came back with a huge smile on his face.
